Maternal family members of 27-year-old Binita Yadav of Chhinamasta Rural Municipality-2, Mohanpur have accused her 35-year-old husband Kedar Prasad Yadav (district president of the Socialist Party Nepal Saptari) of injuring her by beating her on June 14.
The victim, Binita Yadav accused Kedar Prasad of beating her with helmet, kicking and punching at 300 meter west from Khado river bridge. According to her he fled on the scooter after the assault.
According to victim's maternal family, Binita has been admitted to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, Rajbiraj for treatment after she sustained serious injury in her husband's attack.
Binita has filed a complaint at District Police Office, Saptari on June 14 demanding arrest and punishment against her husband.
