21-year-old Jyoti Kumari Sahani of Bishnupur Rural Municipality-2  Simraha who was injured after being beaten by her 23-year-old husband Arun Kumar Yadav filed a complaint at the District Police Office on June 13.

The victim said her husband beat her on the night of June 12 during domestic dispute. The victim has sustained injuries on her face and head.

The victim is undergoing treatment at Gajendranarayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj. According to the hospital, the victim's medical examination was done on June 14.

 The injured victim is staying at the safe house in Rajbiraj because of the fear being beaten again.
