Man held on charge of rape

Police have arrested 65 years old Som Bahadur Thapa of Bandipur Rural Municipality-6 on June 16 on charge of raping 20 years old girl with a physical disability.
The victim’s parents had lodged complaint against the accused at District Police Office and he was arrested form the house according to DSP Lil Raj Lamichhane of District Police Office.
The victim was raped by the accused on June 14 according to the victim’s family. She underwent a health checkup at District Hospital of Damauli on June 16.
