A complaint of gang rape on two women from Likhu Tamakoshi Rural Municipality has been lodged at the District Police Office of Ramechhap on June 15. Police spokes person Sekh Adalat of DPO said that two women who were in a truck were gang raped by the truck driver and other three people while they were on the way to Manthali from Dhobi of Likhutamakoshi Rural Municipality.
They were raped in a Dyangre Jungle at Likhutamakoshi Rural Municipality-7, Tilpung according to the police. One of the victim is a married woman according to the police.
Police have arrested 25 years old Bijaya Magar of Sindhuli district on suspicion of his involvement in a gang rape. The search for other absconding accused is underway according to the police.
The victims underwent health checkup at Primary Hospital in Manthali on June 15 according to the police.
