The students have vandalized the Eastern University School of Engineering and Technology (PUSET) campus at Biratnagar on June 18, saying that instead of addressing the demand of students campus have given long holiday.
Students who have completed engineering and studying on campus have vandalized the campus saying due to careless of the administration, students do not get validity from engineering council.
The students have vandalized the campus head office, administration, accounting, and storage as soon as the campus administration pasted the notice of holiday until July 16.
After the vandalism, they also set fire on the sofa, drawer and other items of campus chief Manoj Haluwai office.
Nabin Niraula Student of campus says campus forced them to go for protest by closing campus for a long time after examination form was opened and not listening to their demands.
Gokarna Ghimire, Morang chairperson of All Nepal Students' Union said that the government has to solve the problem seriously as the students were forced to go to the vandalism due to lack of timely attention of the administration.
