A complaint against 28 years old Bali Man Bohara has been lodged at District Police Office of Humla on June 19 by 34 years old Hirkala Pariyar on charge of caste-based discrimination.
The victim accused Bohara of using foul language and beating her in an inebriated state by discriminating her based on caste.
The accused had even manhandled 45 years old husband with disability of the victim. The victim’s party have complained that they were being tortured by the accused from the last few days. The informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) supported the victim while lodging complaint at police office after the verbal complaint lodged by the victim was ignored by the ward office.
A complaint was lodged at District Police Office on June 19. The incident is under the investigation according to the in charge Bishnu Maya Gurung of Women and Children Office.
