Family and neighbors of a young man who was beaten to death by strangers have staged demonstrations along with his dead body in Rajbiraj, on Thursday.

25-year-old Krishna Biraji, a resident of Piprahi in Tirhut Rural Municipality-3 of Saptari, was beaten to death by a group of strangers in Rajbiraj-4. He died during his treatment. 

Relatives and villagers protested at Rajbiraj with his dead body demanding arrest of murderer and resignation of SP Manoj Kumar Yadav and Chief District Officer Surendra Poudel. They also protested chanting different slogan.

The family members of the deceased have submitted an application by mentioning the names of the murderers to the police. The deceased family accused police of not registering the case.
