Shiva Kumar Chaudhary of Duhabi Municipality attempt to burn his 25-year-old wife Bimala Chaudhary 

The victim said that the accused attempt to burn her with hot water and beat her during a household dispute on June 28.

Immediately after getting information about the incident, the Chairperson of Duhabi Municipality-7, Bijay Kumar Chaudhary,  rescued the woman and admitted her to Sunsari Community Hospital in Duhabi for treatment. He also said that preparations are underway to bring the accused under the legal action as the hot water burned the woman's back.

There was no information about the incident, said Inspector Ram Narayan Majhi of the Area Police Office, Duhabi.
