17-year-old Dalit girl, who has been living at Mechinagar municipality-9 with her guardian, has accused her landlord of sexual abusing her since the last year. 

The victim filed a complaint against the accused on June 17 stating that the accused raped her the last time in the evening of June 17. The accused allegedly abandoned her in the street near Amda Hospital in Mechinagar-10 after raping her. Locals found the girl crying and handed her to the police. 

According to Police Inspector Komal Thakur, the accused is absconding and search for the accused is ongoing. The victim also shared that the accused repeatedly abused her over the last year and threatened to kill her if she told anyone about it.
