Ward chairperson of Ramprasad Rai rural municipality-1 Sahadev Rai in Bhojpur padlocked the ward office when locals questioned the financial details of related to a Jhanki Exhibition sponsored by the ward office. 

According to a local Jagendra Kirati, locals raised questions about the cost of prizes for competitions as fewer than the number of teams claimed by the ward chairperson had participated in the competition. The ward office had allocated a budget of rupees 1 lakh for the Jhaki exhibition. Releasing a notice, ward office padlocked the office saying that locals had discredited the local representatives.
