Journalists Buddhi Singh Thakuri, 34, and Nawaraj Rolkaya, 24, and 23-year-old Camera-person Bhim Pariyar of Deuti HD TV have alleged the officials and employees of Surkhet valley drinking water consumer's organization, of beating them while collecting news.
The journalists claimed that the officials and employees misbehaved when they went to the office of the consumer's organization to report the dispute about the vacancy announcement.
Federation of Nepalese Journalists, Surkhet Branch released a press statement on July 3, condemning the incident.
