Kabhre police arrested two persons on the charge of raping a girl with mental disability. The arrested have been identified as 33-year-old Raj Kumar Dhungel of Chaurideurali rural municipality-5 and a 17-year-old boy from the same place, informed DSP Dipak Giri of DPO Kabhre.

Police arrested the duo after the victim's family lodged a complaint at police saying that the girl had become pregnant as a result of rape. In the complaint they stated that, Dhungel raped the girl on April 24 at Chaurideurali rural municipality-5 Dahal Tol by luring the girl with food and money. 

The incident became public after the victim revealed everything to her family. The victim's family also alleged that the perpetrator's side is pressuring them to withdraw the complaint.
