42-year-old Kali Bahadur Chantyal has accused 52-year-old Jaypati Rokaya, the district chairperson of the Nepali Congress, of physically assaulting him on July 12 over the matter of transfer of Danta Saud of Rara Basic School. Chantyal works in the District Education Development and Coordination Unit and is the resident of Sarkigad Rural Municipality-5.  Saud sought transfer to Sharada Basic School which would be close to his resident but Chantal transferred Saud to Gauri Shankar Basic School. Chantyal accused Saud of showing vengeance of not transferring him to his desired school through the assault from district chairperson of Nepali Congress. Chantyal filed a verbal complaint in the District Administrative Office on July 12.
