Police arrests man on the charge of raping woman

Police arrested 18-year-old Prakash Tamang of Belakotgadi Municipality-9 on July 12 on the charge of raping a 29-year-old single woman.
According to SP Krishna Bahadur Palli Magar of District Police Office, Tamang raped the woman on the evening of July 11 at a jungle by ambushing her while she was returning home from wage labor.
The victim underwent a medical examination on July 12 at Trishuli District hospital. Police are further investigating the incident.
