Deputy Chairperson of Mudkechula Rural Municipality Sabita Kumari Rokaya assaulted Ward Chairperson Lam Bahadur Rokaya of ward no. 8 on July 12 in an argument about the social audit of Rara Primary School. 

The deputy chairperson's husband, Lok Bahadur Rokaya, teaches at the school. The ward chairperson wrote a recommendation letter to stop the account of the school because the social audit of the school hadn't been done in 4 years. According to ward chairperson Rokaya, the deputy chairperson threatened to kill him for stopping the account.
