Sister of a 20-year-old woman filed a complaint at Area Police Office Chandranigahpur against 50-year-old Rajendra Sah of Mahagadhimai Municipality-2 on July 17 stating that Sah raped the 20-year-old woman on July 16.

According to the victim's party, Sah took the woman to a hotel in Chandranigahpur and raped her issuing threats. The accused allegedly ran away after the victim shouted for help and people in the surrounding came to help. 

The victim's medical examination was done at Chandranigahpur Hospital on July 17. Further investigation is underway.
