NEFIN Sunsari stage a torch rally demanding fulfillment of quota system

Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities(NEFIN), Sunsari staged a torch rally in protest of non-fulfillment of the quota system in the Public Service Commission Examinations. The torch rally was staged at 5:30 pm in all of those local units in Itahari, Dharan, Inaruwa, Ramdhuni, and Barahachetra.
If their demand of forty-five percent quota system were not implemented, they would stage a whistle rally on July 15 and a general strike on July 17, said Ram Mandupa Rai, the chairperson of NEFIN, Sunsari. He further said, "Our protest will continue if we are deprived of constitutional rights."
