Police on Friday arrested Devendra Lama, 35, of Melamchi Municipality-11 on the charge of raping a 4-year-old girl.

Lama is accused of raping the minor girl on July 22. Inspector Mahendra Darnal of Area Police Office Melamchi said that the victim's side had filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Melamchi on July 23. 

According to him, the health check-up of the victim has been done at  Primary Health Center, Melamchi.
