School employees and child female teachers marched a rally in Kalaiya demanding increment of salary. Around 600 school employees and child teachers from Bara district marched rally on the streets of Kalaiya chanting different slogans.
The school employees affiliated to Nepal School Employees Union also handed a letter of memorandum to DAO office Bara along with District Coordination Committee and Kalaiya Sub-metropolitan Office. Mayor Rajesh Raya Yadav of Kailaya Sub Metropolitan city said they are unable to increase the salary of school employees of sub metropolitan due to low budget in private source.
Madan Kishor Mallik, a chairperson of Nepal School Employees' Union shared that the sub-metropolitan had made a commitment to give Rs 1000 monthly to school staffs in town as encouragement.
