Family members of a 16-year-old girl in Rupandehi lodged a complaint at District Police Office Rupandehi on August 5 against 22-year-old Dipendra Murab of Sammarimai rural municipality-6 accusing him of raping the 16-year-old girl.
In the complaint, the victim's family stated that Murab had been raping the teenager since September 5, 2018 threatening and luring her. He last raped her on July 25 according to the victim's family.
Police stated that they have initiated investigation into the case and are looking for the accused youth who remains on the run.
The victim underwent medical examination at Bhim hospital on August 5.
