Police arrested Vishnu Khadka, an assistant Veterinarian of Atabisakot Municipality, on the charge of allegedly coercing a 24-year-old woman into consuming poison. The victim, who was found poisoned on Sunday, was taken to Chaurajhari Hospital for further treatment after treatment was not possible at Atbisakot Nagar Hospital. The girl, after coming to her senses, accused Khadka of forcibly poisoning her. According to Inspector Achyutaraj Acharya, in-charge of Area Police Office Atbiskot, Khadka was arrested on the basis of the verbal complaint. Khadka, the contract-employee, oversees the ward number 4, 5 and 6 of the municipality.
