Saptari Police, on August 14, arrested 19-year-old Arbind Kumar Yadav on a charge of killing 29-year-old Kanchan Kumari Yadav of Kavilasa Dakkeneshwari Municipality-1.

He was arrested by the District Police Office from Saptari District Court premises after being released on a case of indecent behavior.

According to inspector Bishnu Pradeep Basyal of the Area Police Office, Kalyanpur the accused Yadav was arrested after deceased's brother Siddhartha Yadav of Hariharpur Rajbiraj Municipality-8 registered a complaint against him.

The body of Kanchan was found hanging in the kitchen of her home located at Dakeneshwari Municipality-1 on August 4.

Post-mortem of the body was done at  BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences at Dharan on August 5.

The investigation and the post-mortem report have verified that Kanchan had done suicide.
