Youth arrested on charge of human trafficking

Police arrested 25-year-old Pushkar Dhoj of Godawari Municipality-3 on August 17 from Dhangadhi on the charge of trying to traffick a 17-year-old girl and a 23-year-old woman.
The police arrested the accused while he was taking the victims towards India in the pretext of getting them good jobs.
According to Shiva Charan Chaudhary, Dhangadhi Coordinator of Maiti Nepal, the victims are at Maiti Nepal's shelter and their medical examination was conducted at Seti Zonal Hospital on August 19.
