On August 26, even though the District Administration Office issued a ban on the area around the district court, the supporters of Rabi Lamichhane and the police had a clash. In Chaubiskoti, Bharatpur the police had to attack the protesters with tear gas after the clash broke out. Supporters of Lamichhane vandalized four vehicles.
