Purbanchal University padlocked immediately after vice chancellor takes office

On August 27, as soon as Biju Kumar Thapaliya, who was appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Purbanchal University takes office, Nepal student union locked up his office expressing dissatisfaction in five year. According to the Nepal Student Union(NSU), they padlocked the office as the government has tried to create obstacles against the system of the university.
