Police on September 3,  fired warning-shots during a clash after dispute with locals over a  matter of the arrest of a motorcycle thief.  The locals of Musaharniya rural municipality-5 assaulted the police after the police took control of the thief, said Shekhar Khanal, the SP of Nepal Police. The police then fired two rounds of warning-shot to take the situation under control.  However,  the thief has absconded with the motorcycle. The police are searching for the absconded thief and the persons who helped him to abscond.
