Medical Education Struggle Committee today padlocked the administrative offices of Chitawan Medical College in Bharatpur metropolitan city-10 and Bharatpur metropolitan city-5. A member of the committee, Prabin Syangtan said, they padlocked only the administrative offices to not disrupt health services.
The committee has put forth different demands including the implementation of 75 percent scholarship as stated in the Medical Education Bill, action against Medical colleges charging more fees than the amount fixed by the government amongst many.
