Tension ran high at Birat Nursing Home, Biratnagar-2 after the death of the patient Charimaya Prasai who died during her treatment. Relatives of Charimaya Prasai protested at Biratchowk hospital accusing the doctors of negligence and subsequent death of the patient. 

Prasai underwent surgery of uterus at the hospital. The team of Dr. Gyanendraman Singh Karki had done surgery of Charimaya.

The hospital administration claimed that there was no negligence in the treatment. Internal discussions are currently underway between the hospital administration and the patient's relatives.

DSP Ghanshyam Shrestha of the District Police Office, Morang said that relatives of woman have vandalized hospital after the death of a woman.

Morang police have arrested five persons. They were arrested after they tried to block the road by burning tyres on the road. Morang police have mobilized a large number of the policeman to prevent other tension.
