Police on September 8 arrested a 17-year-old boy on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl. The relatives of the victim had filed a verbal complaint in the Jajarkot police office on September 8. They accused the boy of raping the girl on the same date. 

Police are further investigating the case, said Inspector of Jajarkot district police office. According to the police, the victim had undergone a medical examination on September 8.
