The relatives of 11-year-old-girl have lodged a complaint on 10th September against 61-year-old Chandra Bahadur Sunar of Kathekhola rural municipality-5 in charge of alleged sexual assault on 1st September.
The police reached the home of the victim after getting the information that the victim was from a poor family and that she could not afford to go to headquarter to file the complaint. The police transported the victims to and fro from the victims' house and bore other costs incurred during their stay in the headquarter, said Navaraj Bhatta, S.P of Baglung district police office. "We helped to ensure the victims' right to file a complaint regardless of their economic condition," said Bhatta.
The absconding perpetrator is being searched, S.P. Bhatta said. The victim underwent a medical examination on 10th September in Dhaulagiri zonal hospital in Baglung.
