The sister of a 17-year-old girl filed a complaint of rape in the District Police Office Saptari on Sunday against 28-year-old Chandan Sada of Chinnamasta rural municipality-6 accusing him of raping the 17-year-old girl. 

The incident took place at the time when the victim's parents were away in Jharkhand for pilgrimage. The accused, on the night of September 11 raped the girl by trespassing the bamboo gate.

While absconding the scene, the accused had left the key, which was presented as the evidence in the police.
