Two locals were injured in the beating by the ward chairman and his supporter during the disputes regarding drainage at Kalyanpur Municipality, Siraha.
According to the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, 65-year-old, Kisundev Yadav and his 21-year-old son, Sanjay Kumar Yadav of Kalyanpur Municipality -10 were injured in the beating.
The victim said they were injured in the beating during a discussion about the drainage of Kalyanpur Municipality-11.
According to DSP Sukdev Khanal, Kishundev who has a nasal injury and his son have been admitted to Mirchaiya Hospital for further treatment. He also said further investigation is being carried to know about the incident.
