Police, on the morning of September 21 arrested 30-year-old Rajesh Mahato temporarily residing in Lalbandi municipality-5 along with a set of a homemade gun. Mahato escaped the police and tried to abscond through the route of farmland during the inspection. While absconding, he left the raincoat bag in the farmland, during the inspection of which the gun was recovered. The police later arrested him from Lalnbandi municipality-7.
