The independent group of people, on 1st October, gathered at Maitighar Mandala on Tuesday demanding an arrest of Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahar in connection to his alleged involvement in sexual harassment of a female employee working in the parliament secretariat. Amid criticism from all fronts, the speaker has resigned from the post on October 1.
