Compliant filed against the accused of rape

The victim lodged a complaint at Area Police Office, Chaumala against 23-year-old, Amit Chaudhary of Gauriganga Municipality-11, on October 8 on the charge of raping a 22-year-old girl.
DSP Daksha Kumar Basnet of the District Police Office, Kailali said that the complaint was registered by the victim stating that Chaudhary raped her on October 7.
DSP Basnet said an investigation is underway as the accused is absconding. The health check-up of the victim has been done at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi on October 8.
