Police, on October 9,  have arrested three of five involved in sexual abuse of the 16-year-old girl on the same date. Among the arrested are 24-year-old Ram Prakash Gohit, 36-year-old Ganesh Kumar Yadav, and 22-year-old Chaturdev Yadav.  Ram Prakash and Ganesh are the residents of Siraha municipality-9, while Chaturdev is the resident of Siraha municipality-9. 

The relatives of the victim filed a complaint on October 9. Similarly, the victim underwent a medical examination at Siraha district hospital on the same day. Police are searching for two absconding perpetrators.
