Police arrested a 14-year-old boy who attempted to rape a 12-year girl at Utarbehadi in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-4 of Kailali district, on Saturday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Daksha Kumar Basnet at the District Police Office, Kailali, said, “The victim’s relatives accused the boy of raping her at his aunt’s house around 9 pm yesterday.”

According to the DPO, medical examinations were carried out on the victim and the rape accused at the Seti Regional Hospital in Dhangadhi today.
