Temporary Teachers' Movement Operational Committee started their protest with 2 points of demand. Temporary teachers have been staging a sit-in in front of the Chief Minister office and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs of province 2 from Friday demanding the guarantee of their profession and the provision of the medical treatment till their tenure.
They have accused the government has taken their jobs during the old age. Coordinator of the Temporary Teachers' Movement Operational Committee, Dharmendra Kumar Yadav, said the employment of about 1,500 teachers in the state-2 have been lost due to the wrong policies of the federal government.
They have warned to stay in the sit-in from 11 am to 4 till July 7 and to protest even harder if their demands are not met.
