Police arrests Indian national on rape charge

Police on October 19 arrested 50-year-old Amit Sah, an Indian national from Lakhimpur Khiri of India on the charge of raping a 22-year-old girl.
According to sub-inspector Sharada Chaudhary of District Police Office, police started investigation into the incident after the victim's family lodged a complaint against Sah on October 19. In the complaint they accused him of raping the girl on the same day. The victim underwent medical examination at Seti provincial hospital.
