One night the Army captured her and her sisters from the house they were sheltered in. She was beaten up, hands tied, blindfolded, and taken to the nearby field and was stripped naked. Two dogs were unleashed after her, she was a victim of bestial rape. Then she was taken to the military barrack and treated her inhumanely. She says that there were other girls who had suffered what she had but did not want to speak about it due to fear and stigma of society. Advocate Omprakash Aryal added this needs further investigation as animals do not rape people its not in their nature and this incident shows that the Army has trained dogs to rape people. This program was organized in Dang, Ghorahi by Search for Common Ground under the “Truth Telling” Campaign. This was among 25 testimonials shared by victims of atrocities during the armed conflict.
