Police have arrested 50-year-old Sheikh Isarail of Adarsha Kotawal-4 Inarwa on the charge of attempting to rape a 4-year-old minor girl. Sheikh is a mason at a building construction in Inarwa. He tried to rape the minor girl of the house when the elders had gone out. According to police the incident became public after the minor girl cried for help.

The victim underwent medical examination at Kalaiya district hospital on Wednesday evening. Police are further investigating by holding the perpetrator into custody.
