Developing an abnormal swollen mass on her neck in 2008, the girl went to guru ‘Rinpoche Choltim Dorje Lama’ for treatment. She was taken to Pema Tasi Chhuling Ghombo Kasung Gumba in Pharping for treatment and was given a condition to live in the gumba throughout the treatment by Tuluk Lama. She says for 9 years she was a victim of bondage by Tulku and states that there were other girls like her in the Gumba. She was kept as his slave. He took control of her mentally and physically with threat and superstitious belief that her sister and her boyfriend would die if she didn't follow his wishes. She escaped the gumba with the help from her family and police. The girl’s family filed a case against Tuluk. On August 31, 2018, due to lack of enough evidence the Kathmandu District verdict Tulku innocent in the case of rape, and now after a year to this the High Court Patan found Tulku guilty and sent him to prison for 7 years with 30 lakhs fine.
