Police investigations have revealed that 19-year-old Nipudevi of Jirabhawani Rural Municipality-3 Parsawa who was found dead was murdered by her husband Kedar aka Rambabu Hajara Dusad. Kedar confessed to murder of his wife during police interrogations.
According to police, Kedar killed his wife by slitting her throat with a knife after a dispute between two while they were going to Kedar's in-laws home in India. Kedar reportedly killed his wife by taking her to a bush near Oriya river and slitted her throat. He then faked that his wife had gone missing and told his father-in-law Kapil that she ran away while he had gone to fetch petrol for motorcycle on the way. The deceased's body was later found in the bush where Kedar had dumped it following murder.
SP SOmendra Singh Rathore of District Police Office Parsa said that Kedar has confessed to murder of his wife. According to SP Rathore, Kedar killed his wife during a fit of rage following a dispute between them.
Police are preparing to charge Kedar under Murder Act.
