Congress stage protest in Banke

Nepali Congress, Banke stage protest against the police brutality.
Banke congress staged a sit-in at the district administration office on Friday saying police are taking innocent civilians into custody and trying to prosecute under the act of murder.
Nepali Congress Banke leaders also accused Banke District Police Office of arresting three persons allegedly involved in the Duduwa incident with political pressure.
Sagir Khale, Chairperson of Duduwa Rural Municipality ward-2, a cadre of Nepali congress had also filed a case against Ram Kumar Yadav accusing him of injuring him.
Police, on the other hand, is planning to file an attempted murder case against 5 local congress leaders.
