A complaint against 9 students was filed on November 7 at police on the charge of smearing soot on Prakash Chudal, the head of the Management Committee of Kankai Multiple Campus.

The campus management committee filed complaint against student leaders of All Nepal National Independent Student Union (ANNISU) affiliated to the ruling party Narayan Pokhrel, Nabin Rai, Utsav Bastola, Anup Bhandari, Rabindra Rokka, Roshanchetan Ghimire, Buddhi Chapagain, Rishiram Pokhrel and Bhishma Poudel at Area Police Office Anarmani.

A few lecturers have halted teaching since October 31 in protest of non-chalance towards the extension of the contract of Lecturer Hari Timsina. 

"The students smeared the soot while I was partaking in a meeting of campus with a commitment to resolve the case through dialogue", said Chairperson Chudal.
