Health workers working at Inaruwa Hospital have stopped all the services except emergency service demanding salary.
On Wednesday, the OPD service was completely shut down due to the obstruction of health workers. The service of Inaruwa Hospital has been affected due to the protest under the contract and management committee.
Health workers who have stopped work say there has been discrimination in payment. The Hospital Management Committee has expressed dissatisfaction over the termination of services with OPD.
Gopal Rajbhandari, chairman of the committee, said that the employees are requested to return to work by restarting the service and he is ready to address the issue of salary.
Hospital administration has also said that preparations have been made to provide salaries.
