22-year-old Pratibha Kumari Sah of Mirchaiya Municipality-5 Bhediya, Siraha currently residing in Rajbiraj Municipality-5 of filed a complaint of domestic violence against her husband, 28-year-old Jivan Kumar Sah, in-laws 55-year-old Sailesh Kumar Sah, 52-year-old Janakdulari Sah, and 25-year-old Bhawan Kumar Sah at Distrct Court on November 27.

The victim accused her husband, a driver, of beating her almost everyday under the influence of alcohol. She also accused her husband of beating her with belt  when asking for money to undergo medical checkup. He told her to seek the help of her maternal family who did not send her any dowry. The victim is pregnant.
