Youth arrested on charge of raping teen

Police arrested 24-year-old Ghanshyam Chauhan, a resident of Gulariya Municipality-7, on November 14, on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl.
The victim's family filed a complaint at District Police Office Bardiya on November 12 stating that the accused took the girl to a hotel near Nepalgunj Nursing Home and raped her on October 31.
Police arrested Chauhan based on the complaint filed by the victim's family. The victim's medical examination was conducted at District Hospital Gulariya on November 14.
