Police arrested 20-year-old Krishna Khadgi, a resident of Adarsh Rural Municipality-1, on November 19 on the charge of beating his 20-year-old wife, Kamana Khadka.
The victim filed a complaint at Women's cell, Silgadhi on November 18 stating that her husband assaulted her on November 16. According to ASI Ram Nath, police arrested the accused and initiated investigation.
The victim shared that her husband used to beat her regarding small issues and she is now seeking a divorce from her.
The injured victim's medical examination was done at District Hospital, Doti on November 18.
