Police arrested 23-year-old Darpilal Thakur and 24-year-old Shyam Kapar of Mirchaiya Municipality-1 on November 18 on the charge of raping a 42-year-old woman with intellectual disability. 

The victim's family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office Mirchaiya on November 18 stating that the duo attempted rape on the victim on November 16. The victim's medical examination was done at District Hospital Siraha on November 16. 

According to DSP Sukdev Khanal of Area Police Office Mirchaiya, police arrested the accused and initiated action against them as soon as they received information about the incident.
